Very Disappointed

Tried leaving a bad review couple of weeks ago but never showed up...lets see if this one does! Very disappointed in this dishwasher! Looks great and very quiet but that's about the only good things I can say. Does not clean well. Glasses are so spotted and dirty looking even after I hand wash "before" putting them in the dishwasher! I have to rewash some of the dishes after removing them and I always "prewash" my dishes before loading them in the dishwasher. Have had service come out twice and they replaced the washer motor on one of the visits, still no help. My old antique dishwasher did a better job of cleaning than this one does! Bought the Gallery series appliances; fridge, dishwasher, stove and microwave and am disappointed in 2 of them! Fridge does not work properly either. Wish I had purchased a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointing

The outward apperance of this dishwasher is sleek, stylish, and modern. The inner workings are a whole other story.... Dishwasher is hard to load without dishes hitting the sprayer arms. This dishwasher doesn't hold as many dishes as my "builders model" that came with my house. After only a few months the motor sounds like it is going out. It makes a horrible grinding sound several times through a wash cycle. I have no idea how this model claims quietest in it's class.... Unless it is being compaired to a jackhammer, it can't possibly earn that rating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I ordered this dishwasher from Lowe's the end of November. After seeing some of the reviews on here, I almost canceled the order. I am glad I didn't cancel. After I insatalled it, I ran a cycle with it empty. I noticed a small amount of water on the floor, about the size of a half dollar, under the left hand coner of the door. My first thought was they were right, I should have listened. Then I thought this is a new gasket maybe the heat from running it would help it to seal. It apparently did. The only other time it had the same leak was when after seeing another review on here stating the spray arms were not rotating, I wanted to make sure mine were working and I opened the door part way through the cycle to check them. I noticed the same puddle on the floor. Apparently when I closed the door, some water ran down outside the seal. That is possibly what happened the first time also. We run the dish washer everyother day and it works great. It is relatively quiet. Way quieter than the 20 year old dishwasher it replaced. I did notice I had to turn my water heater up, it was just below 120 F. I turned it up to about 140 F and it made a big difference with cleaning. I have well water, so it is hard and detergent works better with the hotter temperature. The only thing I wish was different on this dishwasher is the inside. I like the stainless steel tubs better. Would definitely recommend this product.

Best dishwasher ever

I purchased this dishwasher because I purchased the double wall oven, microwave and refrigerator in the Gallery series and wanted everything to match. I read all the negative reviews on this dishwasher and was concerned I would have trouble with this model. I absolutely love this dishwasher. It is super quiet, the dishes and glasess come out sparkling clean without pre-washing. This is the best dishwasher I have ever had! I have been using it for over nine months and it is still amazing me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is it running?

A friend recommended this machine and we are so grateful. Our other dishwasher was at least 20 years old and was always noisy. Lately it had not been emptying completely and mold was forming on the bottom. This new Frigidaire is so quiet that I had to put my ear right next to it to hear that it was running. Also, the Light Wash cycle is enough to clean a full load. Haven't tried all the options yet. By the way, to save on electricity we do not use the heated dry but the dishes are almost dry when I am ready to unload.

Great Dishwasher, some design flaws

This dishwasher is great. It's so quiet, I can easily watch the game or a movie while it's running. The buttons on top prevent my 2 yr old from playing with the cycles. Only one bad thing to say - If for some reason the water jets get blocked by a dish or something, it will leak in the corners.
