You could do better

The DW looks good and is quiet both good features. The plastic interior seems to hamper drying. We have to use a drying agent set on maximum in order to have both the dishes and inteior dry after the heated drying cycle.

Motor already going out

Purchased the entire gallery series in March 2010. Dishwasher is now out of warranty and now has a motor going out after. Extrememly loud grinding noise. Seems to be a common issue with this model based on other reviews on big box retailers site. Usage for dishwasher was 2-3 times a week. Considering other brands and not likely to come back. I would expect an issue like this 5 or 6 years after purchase but NOT under 2. Poor quality.

Design flaw

In general this is a good dishwasher with many nice features. However, there is a major design flaw. The soap door will not open fully during a wash cycle if a standard size dish is placed in the front rack. The soap receptacle is placed too low so the door gets stuck by striking the plate and won't open fully. the soap tablet eventually melts enough to slide out but doesn't fully dissolve. We have used different brands of dishwasher soap but have had the same results. The solution for us is not to place anything in the front rack other than smaller saucers, etc but this is still poor design.

Disappointed

I purchased a Frigidaire package for the new house we just built and I am very disappointed!!!!! I have had issues with every single piece we purchased. I could better understand if I had purchased builders grade appliances. The dishwasher is quiet and I like the delay wash feature but that is ALL the good things I have to say about it. It is too shallow. You can't wash large items in top or bottom without it hitting the spray arm. There is very little adjustment capability to work with. The dishes are NEVER dry or completely clean. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire again and wish I could go back and UN-Buy these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice and quiet!

I have owned my dishwasher for two months. I can honestly say it is super quiet. My kitchen is an open concept with my family room and I barely hear it running. I have to stop and listen if I want to hear it. I love the look of the hidden controls-very upscale. The stainless finish is beautiful and easy to care for. It holds a lot of dishes and tall glasses. Some of the racks are adjustable for different dish and glass needs. That comes in handy when you have unusual sized items.
Overall, I love this dishwasher.

Great Dishwasher

WOW, this thing makes no sound at all. I thought other dishwashers were quite but you can hardly hear this one. We are extremely pleased with this purchase. We happened to catch this dishwasher and the matching over the stove microwave on sale for 35% off so the deal was perfect. I installed the dishwasher myself (replaced an existing model) and the instructions were very easy to follow (my first time). Everything went together like clock-work, I loaded dishes and ran it through the first test cycle and was very surprised when I heard it run... QUIET!
GREAT PRODUCT! You won't go wrong with this model.

Excellent Dishwasher

Love the digital read-out and touch panel controls. The child-lock and hidden controls come in handy in deterring our youngster toddler from playing with the dishwasher. The baskets, that come with the dishwasher, are great for washing small items, like bottle parts. My favorite electronic feature is the memory function that remembers the last settings so all you have to do is press one button and shut the door to start the washing.
Only problem, is it was a little more difficult to clean than we thought it would be and the dishes are cleaned really well until the strainer starts to get dirty. Once we cleaned it after a year of use, it was back to cleaning at its best again...
