The angle of the spout on the pot never allows you to completely empty the water out of the pot into the maker. Poor design on the thermal pot spout. As for the quality of a coffeemaker it is excellent.

Shuts off after brewing so the coffee only stays hot in the thermal carafe for about 30 min. My other coffee maker kept it hotter for over 2 hours! Alittle disappointed since it was quite pricey!

I have had this coffee maker for about 6 months and have used several different brands of coffee and I can say that no matter what brand I use the cup of coffee is always delicious! The only drawback is that the stainless steel decanter doesn’t pour evenly especially the last cup...it tends to pour sporadically and you have to remove the lid to finish.
