Bought this coffeemaker because of the thermal carafe thinking it would keep coffee hot. It’s just ok at in doing so. The opening is too small to easily clean and the lid fits so that it pours very slowly. Seems kind of cheaply made. Overall, it brews a pretty good cup of coffee.

This was a purchase to replace one that I have had for approximately 5 years. I have had at least 3 of these in years past. The features are consistent and the coffee is very good. However, my reason for 4 stars is the noise level of this particular machine when brewing. It seems to "pop" frequently as the water works thru during the brew cycle. I've never liked the beeping at the end of the cycle, but that's just personal preference. I have had several other brands, and I always go back to this one.

I bought the coffee pot for my Christmas present. I have always liked Cuisinart pots.I was excited at the fact I didn't have to deal with the hotplate. Unfortunately, I found the thermal carafe Did not keep the coffee hot. As a matter of fact, it wasn't hot to begin with. I also had trouble with the top. Hard to open and close as well as difficult to pour. I tried to give it a chance for about a month. Finally I brought my old pot back out and the new one on the shelf collecting dust. I would not recommend this pot.

We purchased this coffee maker several weeks ago. This is our 2nd one. The first one lasted 4 to 5 years. But we just moved out of state. Bought a new one and were glad they still make this model. Brews great coffee and the stainless carafe keep the great tasting coffee steaming hot for several hours. We also like and use the gold mesh filter, so no need to buy filters. We are very happy with this coffee. Hope they always make the stainless carafe model. Would highly recommend this coffee maker.

I received this coffee maker as a housewarming gift 16 years ago. When it started leaking leaking water out of the bottom of the reservoir, I bought myself this new one because it makes great coffee. It has a 2 quirks, that I am used to. 1. The lid can be tricky to put on and take off, for the newbie. Just use the "line up" arrows, that are hard to see on the black version. 2. The coffee pours out slowly, so I just take the lid off the pot to pour. The feature I use all the time is the 1-4 cup selection. It looks nice on my counter and the price is very reasonable.

Bought this coffeemaker as a replacement for my 10 years+ Cuisinart coffeemaker. Not as satisfied with it as I was with the old one. Doesn't make coffee as hot and the design of the pot doesn't allow the pot to empty completely.
