I am so disappointed with this Coffee Marker! It cuts off after coffee is brewed! Coffee does NOT stay hot! It doesn't have a stay on switch!!

This is the second time I have purchased this coffee pot, the first lasted 8 years, the second 5 years and I would have kept using it but the bottom most portion rusted and left marks on the counter. I am not sure if that is a defect of the newer editions or ???. Why do I like it? 1) thermal pot- glass ones invariably break and a glass pot on continual heat produces disgusting coffee; 2) brew- I adore strong, fragrant coffee and this pot never fails to produce it
