This is my second Cuisinart thermal carafe. I prefer them to glass since they are less fragile. Unfortunately this model doesn’t keep the coffee hot for long. It is also difficult to position the lid on the carafe.

Coffee tastes fine but so disappointed that it just isn’t hot. Have to heat it up in microwave afterwards. Keurig much hotter.

I had a previous Cuisinart coffee maker with stainless carafe and was very happy with it which is why I bought this one. My original one kept coffee hot for several hours. However this one does not make the coffee very hot to start with. This morning I had to microwave the cup straight from the carafe to make it hot.

I went out and bought yours. FANTASTIC !!!! Keeps working and keeps my coffee hot. I also love the mug that was sent with. Sadly, can't find another.

Easy to operate. Makes coffee fast and tasty. The only con is the hot plate turns off when the coffee is finished brewing. I drink coffee all morning and have to warm up the coffee in the micowave after30 to 60 minutes, since it is not hot!

I have had several Cuisinart coffee makers, pleased with all of them. This is the first with a stainless steel carafe, which I like. It keeps the coffee warm (with no warming plate under) and I'm not worried about accidental breakage. (Hard to pour the last of the coffee out of it though - but at least it doesnt dribble when pouring like some other carafes). Only 10 cup, good for individual use. One button operation. Fast and delicious.
