The coffee is very good and tastes fresh, however, the carafe doesn’t seem to keep the coffee that hot. When I pour my 2nd or3rd cup it seems hot but cools off quickly

Have had a Cuisinart 10 cup coffee maker for about 10 years and wanted the insulated thermal carafe. Although it is much better than cold coffee for sure, it could keep it hotter. Also in order to pour the last bit out you have to take the top off. But still all in all a great cup of coffee by a reliable maker.

This is a replacement of the same model I used for years. The old one got clogged with mineral deposits. ProTip: use distilled or RO water in your coffeemaker. It works great, but the lid isn't closing tightly and lets out steam. We have to put a weight on top to keep it tightly shut. That could be improved.

10-cup thermal: Good quality, last-forever coffee maker. Cleaning occasionally is all it asks. No glass containers to break; the metal pot will last longer than you. Only improvement could be is if the top lid folded back just a little more, it would be easier to fill the water container with water from the pot for the exactly right amount. Space efficient. Good filter comes with. If the kids didn't like mine so much, i wouldn't have had to buy several.

This is my second 10 cup programmable thermal coffee maker. The first lasted 6 years, and still makes coffee, but the programmable part failed. I make a pot at least once per day. This is a great product. I hope you never stop making this. I will definitely purchase again in another 6 years, if needed. Highly recommend! Jan

Makes great tasting coffee. I prefer the cone shape filters, which this uses. However, the coffee is not as hot as we prefer despite warming up the carafe beforehand with very hot water.
