I love it. It never overflows. It makes a perfect pot of coffee every time, and it's at the right temperature; not too hot. There is a basket that will hold the paper filter, or the mesh screen filter. I like the option of using a mesh filter, or a #4 cone paper filter, which I prefer, because it makes cleaning easier. The carafe is awesome! It's double-walled, with a door-like valve that opens when you tilt the carafe to pour out the coffee. It keeps the coffee hot all day. Amazing. Why even use a glass carafe anymore? I've never used the timer, though. I just load it with grounds when I'm ready to make a pot. It's easy; just push the button, and it starts to brew. When it's done, it beeps, and turns itself off. Lastly, I like the size. It's not very tall at 14 inches, and 8 inches in width. I am very pleased with this coffeemaker. It's the best I've ever owned.

I like my coffee very hot. This coffee maker does not meet my expectations in that I have to pour a cup and then put it into the microwave to get it to a temperature hot enough.

Best coffee maker I ever purchased & this is my 2nd purchased of the same coffee maker. I bought this Cuisinart 10 Cup Programmable Thermal Coffeemaker in October 2019 to replace the same model Cuisinart 10 Cup Programmable Thermal Coffeemaker that I had bought in March 2011. I had 1st coffee maker from March 2011 to October 2019 & used it 2 times a day & sometimes more & always kept coffee very hot, made great tasting coffee & I never had a problem with these coffee makers. I recommend this coffee maker my very best purchase.
