This was the best purchase I’ve made as a coffee drinker. I just need to remind myself to be sure the carafe is emptied before starting a fresh brew since I don’t see the coffee in the pot. The coffee is still hot after 8 hours! Wow!!

I bought the Cuisinart DCC-1150 over a month ago and I am not satisfied with the temperature of the coffee after it is brewed. I have made sure the craft cover is on securely and it is sitting on the plate evenly. The store I purchased it from has gone out of business and will not take returns. Not sure what to do, I got a better result from a cheaper brand of coffee maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

At first, I wasn't sure about this process of using a Thermos instead of a 'Burner' type coffee maker. After using The Cuisinart for about a month, it is awesome. Great Coffee, Easy Clean-up, Coffee stays Hot for hours. I purchased the 10 Cup because there is only my wife and I...highly recommended.

This is our Second exact coffeemaker by Cuisinart. Our last one was at least 10 years old but the top was cracked from move and it was beginning to get a little noiseier so decided time for a new one.
