I had the same model for years and I loved it. The bottom (where you place the pot-it's not a burner) rusted out after 3-4 years. To prevent this, dry the bottom of the pot before you put it back on the coffeemaker. As for the complaints of insufficient temp of the brew, I didn't find this, but for ultra finicky guests, I simply fill the metal pot with hot water and let it sit a few minutes, pour out and brew. By the way, I'm in foodservice, and we don't use anything but metal for brewing and holding coffee. Glass allows in UV light and spoils the flavor, as will a heated holding mechanism. I tried a combination brew-K cup coffeemaker from the same manufacturer after the first programmable of this model rusted out. This model is far superior. Change you filter monthly (it's easily available online) and it will thank you, as will the flavor of your coffee. Enjoy!

I had a 15 year old Cusinart thermal coffeemaker, which finally gave up the ghost...so I ordered this to replace it. Since it is just 10 cups not 12 it is faster to make a carafe and I love the gold filter I did not have before.

I replaced a Keurig with this because we retired. It’s easy to use, makes nice coffee and has a great profile in that it sits under my cabinet on the counter. The Keurig was too tall to do so. I only wish the coffee stayed hotter in the carafe but it’s preferable to a hot plate that continues to cook the coffee in a regular carafe.

I got this coffee pot as a gift and I love it! It's simple to use, easy to clean and the coffee stays hot for a long time due to stainless steel coffee pitcher
