This is our second Cuisinart Grind & Brew. Our first was not a burr grinder but it lasted over 10 years and we loved it. This one is great but does take some adjusting to achieve the strength of coffee you like, you can adjust the strength with both the button for strength & playing with the setting for number of cups. I have found adjusting the number of cups to less than the amount of water in the machine & keeping the strength button on strong works best for us. I clean the grind chute every time I add beans, it does not take long at all. After just over 2 months, I have not had any problem with the heating plate as some reviewers have but I usually turn off the machine after the first few cups. I hope this one lasts as long as our last one but will definitely continue to purchase cuisinart coffee makers!

I have had a grind and brew for coffee maker for almost 4 years and thus model outshines them all. I love the coffee bean storage in a well designed bin that is protects the beans from humidity. The controls for the amount of beans per cups of water takes the guesswork out of the morning brew. The no grind option is great when guests want decaf. All in all an excellent product.

We received this coffee maker from our wedding registry. We LOVE that this coffee maker makes great coffee! We set it at night, and wake up to fresh-ground beans that make the house smell delicious! The thermal carafe is not the greatest. We like that the thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot without the burnt taste of a pot with a warming plate, but the carafe leaks when you pour no matter what you do! All in all, we like the coffee maker, but wish Cuisinart would come up with a solution for the leaky carafe!
