My sons bought me one for Christmas several years ago. When that one gave up the ghost, I bought another, just like it, but with the glass carafe. I prefer the glass to the metal because it pours better.

I bought this brew grinder to replace a huge and expensive Krups unit that finally failed. It’s smaller and brews better coffee than the Krups. It’s also feature packed and “smart”! If you forget to clean the grounds basket, it will beep at you and remind you to do it and won’t let you brew more coffee. Its only issue is simple periodic maintenance. You must clean out the grinding chute every now and then. The ground coffee can build up and clog the machine over time. A brush is included and it takes less than 5 minutes to do. The instructions state this more than once so don’t ignore it. Easy to do and if you don’t, the machine will even display a reminder! It can brew up to 12 cups quickly and has a permanent reusable filter. Just keep the chute clean and it will work perfectly!

The 1st grind and brew that we had we kept 12 years. I would not have anything else. The Burr grind on this machine really brings out the flavor of the coffee bean.. I am just hoping that we have such success as we did with the 1st 1. Very pleased..
