We love getting just the right amount of freshly ground beans for the strength of the coffee that we want. While the grinder is a little loud, it doesn't last long and is it worth it for fresh-ground taste.

This is our third Cuisinart Grind & Brew-First Burr Grinder machine. Better ground coffee than the blade grinder units, still it has some getting use to and at times a mind of its own. Still haven't put more beans than needed for a single brew because it wants to grind more beans than necessary. And the "Done Brewing" beeping alarm is so faint we literally have to be right next to it to hear the alarm!

This is an easy to use burr grind and brew machine and simple to clean and maintain. The quality of the extraction is pretty good though not the same as higher priced and fussier machines. Judging from my past cuisanart machines, it should be around for a long time.

We love our Burr Grind & Brew. This is a replacement of an older unit that lasted over 6 years. The easy of use and reliability are a big plus. The ease of programming is nice and while cleaning is a little challenging at times, it's not a big deal.
The only drawback to this unit compared to previous ones is it comes with a glass pot. Previous model had a metal/thermal pot. We ended up ordering a replacement metal/thermal pot from a third party supplier (Ebay of all places).
If you like freshly ground coffee, then this is definitely the way to go.

There’s a little learning curve, but overall, a great coffee maker. Fill the beans and use for days. Set yourself a schedule for cleaning the grinder and filter to keep it brewing well. Every time I grabbed a new bunch of filters from the package, I’d do both. Replaced under warranty after 16 months. That was my only downside.
