This is our fourth or fifth ‘grind and brew’. We wore the others. Being able to load a half a pound of beans in advance is appreciated.

Absolutely love this product! Love how you can program the grinder to grind your coffee beans just before brewing, for the freshest pot of coffee. I have been searching for a machine of this quality to do exactly what I want it to do, grind my coffee beans right before brewing equals perfection in a cup.

we were able to get this discontinued model thanks to a very caring Cuisinart customer service person who responded to our complaints after getting 3 DGB800 units that all had the same major design flaw. When I mentioned to her how much we loved the DGB700 we had but that burned out, she said although it was discontinued, she still had some brand new ones she could send us as a replacement. We love this unit, it does everything it is supposed to, including auto program with grind OFF. The 800 is supposed to, but it does not turn the grind off if you use auto program. I hope they get that sorted eventually.
