I bought this Grind&Brew after I tested my 2nd Capresso and found it was not hot enough. The G&B brews a good cup of coffee and is easy to use. Storing a large amount of beans on top is a convenience. The grind is not adjustable. The screen is too small and not lighted sufficiently. Grinds get stuck in the shoot from the grinder and it's somewhat difficult to reach some of the stuck material with the straight cleaning brush. Overall, a good machine.

I received my Burr Grind & Brew last month as a birthday present. I absolutely love this coffeemaker! It proportions out the exact amount of coffee for the cup size and strength selected. Then, I am blessed with a perfect cup of coffee!! Cuisinart has a hit with this coffeemaker.

We purchased this Cuisinart coffee maker to replace a different Cuisinart model that we had for years. We immediately noticed that it made great tasting coffee. It is fairly easy to use and a little involved to clean / maintain (like cleaning out the grinding chute). The main drawback to this product is that you are supposed to keep the coffee bean hopper near full. This is fine if you enjoy making the same coffee day after day. But we like to change it up, so we've found the best way to accomplish that is to:
1) Fill the hopper with an adequate amount of beans for the number of cups desired (e.g., 8 cups) then set the grind control to the next higher setting (in this case 10 cups). This ensures that all the beans are ground and the hopper is emptied. Or;
2) Empty the hopper after brewing a pot so it is ready for different beans the next time you make coffee.

If we went to purchase this product again, we would likely buy the model that features the thermal carafe instead of the glass carafe. Otherwise we are very happy with the quality of coffee this product makes, despite a few inconveniences.

We purchased this a month ago and love the feature of filling the top with coffee beans, so it is one less thing we have to do in the morning! Also, that we can select the strength of the coffee in addition to how many cups we can brew.
