We bought it after our much more expensive coffee maker with built in grinder started leaking. It is far superior to any other model we've tried. The system produces much more consistent coffee and you can take it all apart to clean it, unlike a couple of other high-end models we tried. I recommend this to anyone who likes gourmet coffee with fresh ground beans.

I love the coffee from this machine, you can't beat fresh ground in my book.
The only drawback is the need for constant cleaning of the grinder. Since I drink a lot of coffee I am always cleaning the grinder. It's a good thing that I am retired, this is my new job!

We purchased this coffee maker after visiting friends with one. We love having a coffee maker that grinds and brews fresh coffee every morning. The one problem we have is how quickly the ground coffee blocks the hole between grinder and basket.
