This item was packed well, it was very easy to assemble, no missing parts, I didnt see instructions in the booklet for the battery that came with it so i called customer service and they answered my question in 30 sec. I havent had the heater that long but the construction seems high quality and its doing the job very well so far

This heater works and looks as you would expect it to. It says the assembly time is one hour. I'm fairly handy with tools, and it took me two hours to assemble. No problems just hard to fill the base with sand and the plastic peeling off of the reflector is challenging. It also took a bit of jigging it around to make it look perfectly vertical. This is all minor to the product, it was packed very well and all parts were well labeled.

This was purchased to lengthen our ability to be out door on the deck and patio. Missouri weather is unpredictable and this is perfect. Quick start and puts out lots of comforting warmth. We love it!

We, like a seeming record number of people, wanted to purchase a patio heater to allow for a greater ability to socialize outdoors during the COVID winter months. The metal seems reasonably sturdy, and the base has a frame for support. Assembly was tedious and time consuming, but it wasn't complicated. The only tricky part was attaching the reflector shield to the screws, which were difficult to line up (trick... stand on a ladder rather than have one person tilt the heater per the instructions). The heater lit immediately. We tried it briefly, and it certainly warmed well while facing it from a few feet away, but we'll have to see how well it works in truly cold weather. I do wish the shield were larger, although the size seems standard for these types of heaters, to allow for more heat to be directed out and down versus escape upwards. A larger and sturdier upgrade is sold, although it appears to be out of stock everywhere for now. Unfortunately, the upgrade is more than half the price of most patio heaters, which is absolutely ridiculous. Still, we'll take what we can get and hope that it allows us to safely see friends and family more often in the upcoming months.

After battling a cheap patio heater for years, I threw it away & decided to spend a little extra money for a quality product. So far it has been money well spent. Compared to stainless heaters at Home Depot or Lowes, there is no comparison. The components are made of a much heavier gauge of steel. My only complaint is the film that covered the propane tank surround. I don't know if my heater sat in a hot warehouse or something too long, but it took at least an hour to get it off & it still left a lot of residue on the stainless steel. Still working on getting that shined up! The film on the deflector is different & peeled off in seconds. Nice not to have to light a pilot light & hold the button in for 2 minutes!

After everywhere was sold out of these, my wife decided we should buy a patio heater... So I researched and found Fire Sense consistently has amazing reviews. I watched the site and after a few days found 2 of these in stock. Bought one for me and one for my neighbor. Took a few days to ship out but once I got them, set up was pretty easy. Took me a bit over an hour between unboxing and peeling off the paper. I also did it by myself: just stood on a step stool to screw in the reflector. I had a chance to use it for an hour or so Saturday afternoon while the kids went out trick or treating and it throws some good heat. A friend had an idea that I am going to try: sticking a fan behind the heater and run it on low to direct the heat to where we will be sitting.

We were excited to receive our patio heaters last week. Setup took less than 45 minutes (each). Directions were clear and easy to follow. We live in a high wind environment so we hope the units hold up and continue to perform for years to come.
