Bought this last fall. Assembly was about an hour and pretty straight forward, would have been less if I read the directions right. Takes a standard 20lb tank and has rolling wheels to help move it around. Heats well, about a 5' radius gets decent heat as long as it's not windy. If you're sitting closer, it's very cozy, even in very cold weather. Plus it looks great.

We bought this last fall (2014) when temperatures were starting cool down and we love under our pergola in cool fall crisp days and this patio heater was a great addition to take the edge off of the cool crisp air. We love our stainless steel patio heater.

Works like a charm. Adds just the right amount of heat to make the chilly nights comfortable. So worth it! I am so glad we purchased and will get use out of it for years to come.

Excellent heater - easy to assemble

Bought the heater to extend the backyard season into the Fall. It puts out plenty of heat and is quick to warm up. Good directions make it easy to assemble. DOES require metric wrenches (2 sizes) for easy assembly. Standard propane tank fits snugly into frame underneath the large housing at the bottom, but still has easy access by pulling up the housing. NOTE: electric igniter is a bit touchy to install. When screwed in tightly doesn't work properly. I backed the threads out a bit until it sparked easily and works perfectly since then. After a couple of weeks, I find it a solid product and definitely recommend.

Pretty easy to assemble. A 1/4 drive metric socket set makes assembly much easier than using the adjustable wrenches the instructions suggest.
This heater is very tall and works best for a large area. My deck is only 11 X 17 so I may cut and re drill the vertical tube to lower the heater head.
The ignition system works really well.
I've had a couple of cheap patio heaters with pilot light systems that only lasted a year or two due to thermocouple failures. These were next to impossible to replace so I ended up pitching a lot of scrap metal. Hopefully this heater won't have this kind of issue.

Toasty warm patio!

Bought this while it was still warm here in the NYC suburbs but we knew the chill that was coming. Boy, are we glad we did! Ran into a little bit a trouble assembling it but that was totally my fault. The phone reps walked me through the correct assembly and I was good. Probably would have taken about an hour because I worked alone. Anyway, it has certainly extended our patio use which made it easy to socially distance with friends. It should add about a couple of months of use in the fall and spring and that makes it well worth it. Of course, we hope to use this for many years to come long after the pandemic.

Your product is well-manufactured out of quality material. I certainly paid more than I would have for one of those "Basics" heaters but a friend of mine had to send his back because it was so poorly made.

Easy to assemble

It took two hours from start to finish. I used a 10mm & 13mm socket, adjustable wrench and a Phillip's screwdriver. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Once assembled, and I realized I had to insert a AAA battery, (super easy to insert) it took all of 1-2 seconds for the heater to fire up. It seemed like it couldn't wait to start up! I also bought a full-lengh cover for it. That will help protect it off-season.

I can't wait for a cool evening to use it.

One comment... I agree with another review that said to use a ladder to attach the top dome, instead of tilting the heater. That made a lot of sense.
