Our second in 10 years

Our 1st Fire Sense patio heater lasted us 10 years without any issues, so after it finally quit lighting, we bought another one. Commercial grade this time. This one has its moments where it doesn't want to light, so we will give it a little more time before we call, otherwise we love this product.

Purchased this recently and it works exactly as promised. Easy to assemble, directions are clear, start up, operation and adjustment are very simple. All in all it would appear to be a great product. Five stars if the weight in the bottom were more substantial (you will likely want to lay it down in winds above 30 mph) and the hood were a single piece rather than an assembly of multiple pieces....still not bad though. 21 degrees last night and my patio was still kept nice and warm.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this product about a month ago and I am very happy I did! The assembly instructions were simple. It was quite easy to start it up. in Fact, I am planning to add a second one on my patio very soon!

Bought (2) in 2008...lasted longer than any of our friends units...now they all have Fire Sense heaters.

Great Patio Heater

Came well packaged. Was easy to assemble. Took about an hour. One small problem: one of the 6mm nuts was actually a 1/4 x 20. A quick trip to the hardware store and the problem was remedied. The unit started immediately. Two major features on this unit. It has the electronic (i.e.battery operated starter) and the bottom has built in ballast to prevent tipping over (i.e. you don't need to add sand and windshield washer fluid). I am very happy with this heater.
