I enjoy sitting outside with my coffee and iPad catching up on the news - even when it's cold. Got my heater just in time for snow and cold weather in Texas. The heater gives me a tolerable environment on my lanai. Performs as expected.

We bought the Fire Sense Stainless Steel Patio Heater this past week. So thankful for user-friendly instructions on its assembly. After setting it up we tried it out and everything worked excellently! While the weather is still warm here in Tennessee, we are ready for the upcoming cooler months with lots of quality time on our patio.

The patio heater will be welcome on chilly evenings. I gave it 4 stars because the housing unit does not have a door to change out the propane tank. It is precarious to lift the housing while changing out the tank at the same time. The assembly instructions are very good. But it took 2.5 hours to assemble by a journeyman pipefitter and an assistant.

Hi CW! I noticed your commented about the tank housing being precarious during tank changes. The design of the tank housing does eliminate a door because the hinges and door on tank housings tend to be the failure points. However, there is no need to physically hold the tank housing aloft! Lift it high enough that the bottom edge can rest on top of the support legs, propped on the inside of a bolt head. This will secure the tank housing safely out of the way while you swap tanks, no juggling necessary!

Pretty Much As Advertised

Bought this about two weeks ago. Assembly went fine though there are some errors in the description of the bolts used in the manual. All parts were included, though the tank cover cylinder was dented. I called, and they are sending out a new tank cover after I provided proof via a photo, so not a hassle at all.
Unit really keeps two people warm, an area about 6 feet across. Overall, a good value for the price. I may buy another. Only negative is the heat shield on top is pretty thin. If this thing ever blows over, the heat shield will fold like aluminum foil.

I bought this heater to extend the use of our outdoor patio into the colder months, but it's so easy to use that I turn it on during chilly summer nights or cool mornings. I'm cold-natured; I find it really effective to make it warm and comfortable on the patio so my family can stay outside longer.
