Solidly built

Just bought it for my deck, and it starts very easily. It seems to be very solidly built and easy to use. Assembly took less than one hour, and was easy except that 1) instructions at one point indicated 3 rather than 4 screws, and 2) the description of how to assemble the reflector panels was not clear - it took me a bit of trial and error to get it right.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was skeptical that we would use this heater much. But it's great. Assembly was very straight forward and it fired up the first time as expected. Throws good heat. Very happy. We'll use this a lot more than I thought we might.

Beautiful Looking Patio Heater

This is my second Firesence Patio Heatet. Purchased because we needed additional heat on our deck in the cold winter months in the Sierras. Our first firesence heater is still going strong after 10 years! The build on the new unit is perfect, more features and safety additions. Love the electronic ignition. Fired up with one push of the button. 46,000 BTU’s. Puts out the heat. Easy Assembly with easy to follow directions.

Stainless Steel rusting after 2 months

I purchased the Fire Sense Stainless Outdoor Patio Heater (Item # 01775) in August and by October small rust spots appeared on the upper surface of the tank housing. What was particularly galling about this was that I also purchased a Fire Sense Vinyl Cover (Model # 02129) to protect it. I live in California and there was no rain during this short period. How does a stainless steel heater rust? I'm guessing that this "stainless steel" heater has some non-stainless steel components.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible reflector

Overall, not a bad product. But the reflector they sell with it is a joke. I had to take the reflectors off my endless summer product and use to make the unit look presentable. Pricing was good and easy installation.

Heat generating machine!

I splurged and spent more than I intended to when replacing my old patio heater, which had the thermo-couple go out. It was $70 for the part so I decided to replace it and upgrade to the Fire Sense. The BTU rating isn't substantially higher than my old one, but it sure seems to do a better job of putting out the heat. We've used it a few times this Fall and are pleased with the performance.

Great Product

One of my best purchases in 2015. Starts quickly and does a great job keeping the surrounding area warm. Used one evening when the temperatures dipped below 60 degrees and the heater kept the area very warm.
