** THIS IS MY SECOND OF THIS TYPE OF BATTERY in 2 and 1/2 YRS. I STILL USE THE FIRST ONE AND HAS MUCH MORE LIFE TO GO, BUT WANTED A SECOND ONE TO USE AS A BACKUP; ALTHOUGH NOT SURE WHEN I'LL USE THE "SECOND REPLACEMENT" ITS A GOOD PRODUCT and COMES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FROM ME.***

Battery Life

I love HP products and believe they are tops in the computer technology arena. However, why hasn't battery life kept up?? I purchased the extended life battery hoping for all day use but found 5 to 6 hours at best. More research time needs spent in the battery longevity area.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far in the two weeks I have had this battery, it has lasted close to the five hours as advertized. I am very happy for that since the original battery was only lasting about one hour. I believe this battery is worth the price.

Extended life battery is a must buy if you don't have it. I'm able to get a solid 6hrs out fo this EV12 with several windows open.

It is better to go with 6-cell battery instead of wasting money in 12-cell battery. it is not good as per the performace wise with my hdx-16 1370us laptop. With battery saver settings on my laptop, battery dies in 3 hrs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I travel by train alot for work, this battery gives me the ability to move around the train without dragging my power cord with me.
