This battery is a great buy and worth the longer life I'll have with my HP Laptop.

Have had the battery for couple of weeks now; it gives me 4-5 hours of battery time, if not more; playing music, online, etc. Hopefully it will also last in the long term as well; read many notes about it not lasting a year or almost a year; will see. Also know that it is not good to keep the battery plugged in constantly, so need to remember that,,,,glad to be portable again & able to move location without shutting down constantly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

people weren't lying when they said the battery was heavy. it's very heavy, and for a weak person, kind of hard to handle sometimes. That's my major complaint.
the other problem is that it sticks out the end instead of fitting in the battery spot, but i knew that would happen. Now i cannot fit my computer into a laptop sleeve though for when i want to carry it to class or somewhere. So i have to find like a bigger bag to fit it in, and one with good supportive straps.
For the battery life, it seems to last long like they said, but the more you have open and what you are doing obviously drains it faster. It seems to be working ok right now though, i've only have it a little while though.

I thought the battery life of this 12 cell battery would be at least twice as of that of the 6 cell battery. To my dismay it is not. I am very disappointed in having spent so much money and not to get my moneys worth.

The 12 cell extended life battery has been a great purchase for my HP laptop.Battery last up to 8 hrs with out the charger pluged in. The bad thing is that the laptop feels heavier. Other than that its great...
