the charge last long and the way it raises your computer up help it get better air flow to help keep your computer cooler is nice feature. would recommend this to anyone.

Less battery charge

I bought the 12 cell extended life battery hoping that it will last the 9 hrs it is supposed to do, I am getting only 3.5 hrs on a full charge. I dont recommend the battery.

It is a blessing for school

I am a 62 year old returning colege student. Being able to take this to study with and not having to look for a plug is great. I can take it to school, library,or at home study .

After using the regular 6cell for couple of years, the battery is dead. So, I purchased this extended one, its very easy to install and works perfect.

Says up to 8 hours on a charge. If I get 2 hours it is a lot from this battery. Expected the battery to last longer between charges.

great battery, poor documenation

The battery arrived with a LOT of papers that cover the warranty, your rights and regulations, safety instructions, etc. And all of these were there in many MULTIPLE languages! It was such a huge stack of papers I'll never use. But there was no user guide! For example, the batter has a little level indicator on it that shows you the battery level but nothing in the docs mention it - something a user would really want to read.

I like the extended power my new battery gives, however I don't like the HUGE size of the battery.
Before I ordered the battery, I couldn't tell from the picture just how big & bulky the battery was.
It really puts a big lump in my case now when I transport my laptop.
