You can set it and walk away. The fact that is cooks slowly then switches to "Warm" means you don't have to stand over it and monitor the progress. The slow cook method seems to produce a deeper flavor. Worth it.

It works for 2 people. I didn't want a bigger one. Programmable, and easy to use. Just low, high, simmer and warm. It fit our needs! The only thing I'm not sure about is it doesn't seem to heat sufficiently on low or high so you might need to adjust cooking times.

I wanted a smaller, programmable crockpot, this fits all my needs. Not to big it to small, the programmable option is great, it turns to warm after cooking period has finished, so if you are running late, will keep things warm.

This slow cooker filled all my needs. I wanted a programmable oval slow cooker. I don't have a lot of room in my kitchen, and I don't like to have a bunch of appliances on my countertop. It's only my husband and I. This fits perfectly in my cubbard, is light and easy to take out and in, and makes plenty for us. I downsized from a 4qt and I don't notice a difference at all. I made a pot of soup and it's made from a recipe without needing to downsize for the size of my slow cooker. The panel is easy to understand and it all works perfectly.

Great slow cooker for a single guy, I don’t have the time to prepare great meals, so I usually eat out, but with this slow cooker I can prepare pot roast, chili, stew, and even a desert without mush effort, the prep time is minimal, and like magic, the slow cooker dose the rest, I never realized how this Cuisinart slow cooker made meals so easily to prepare, I should have invested in this cuisinart slow cooker imstead of trying some off brands that just don’t measure up to the Cuisinart.
