This is a great product for the price - which was half off online at Office Depot when I bought it.
Easy software installation. Easy to use. Crisp copies.
Ink is realitively inexpensive.
Works just great and totally recommend it for home office.

It prints fast, clean, and easy to use. It also scans very fast and with easy to use functions. I am glad it turned out to be a good bargin for me. Only one problem that I think Epson could easily fix...it is very loud when it is printing. I was actually startled by the sound when I printed for the first time. I suppose if I were using this in an office setting instead of my home, the noise level it produces wouldn't be a big deal. I give it 4 stars, because of the noise level

some Unknowns

Over all I really like this product, although it is a bit noisy when it grabs the paper to print.
Scanning is one of the things I don't like about this product.
So far all attempts to scan come out with dialog that
is rough looking and hard to read. It is better in Vista then
Snow Leopard I also am not sure about faxing. It looks like
I will have tio use Vista I don't see it available in Snow Leopard. It should be available in both Mac and PC.
I am really disappointed with the scanner especially with the Mac.

It seems like I'm going backward in technology, but I have been finding the need for a fax machine in my house more and more as my business grows. So when the Epson Store had this latest sale on the Workforce 310, I took a closer look. This little machine is exactly what the Dr. ordered. It networked into my system effortlessly and I am amazed how easy it is now to fax any document I have without even touching the devise...I can do it all from my computer. But what topped it off was the basement bargain price. A very good deal...thank you Mr. (or Ms.). Epson.

NOT GOOD WITH WINDOWS 7

THIS IS MY 4TH EPSON PRINTER. THE FIRST 3 LASTED JUST OVER 2 YEARS AND PRINTED, COPIED AND SCAN EXCELLENT. THE WORKFORCE 310 DOES NOT WORK WELL WITH WINDOWS 7. AS I SCAN MY DOCUMENTS IN A PDF FORMAT, THE JPEG IMAGES DO NOT EMAIL CLEARLY FOR THE RECIPIENT. THIS IS WHY I NEED TO SCAN IN A PDF FORMAT USING ADOBE. THE PRINT QUALITY IS GOOD AND AS A COPIER IS OK.

Good results after instalation problems

Using the instalation disk that came with the machine, I could not print. Upon examination, the disk was for a 64 bit machine not my 32 bit Windows XP. After removing this setup, I was was able to load the proper programs. Currently the Workforce 310 is working and performing as expected

new Unit
on July 27, 2010

from Philadelphia, Pa.
I recently purchased the EpsonWorkforce 310 All-in-one-Printer and have been using it for 3 days.
Unit works fine - scanner, printer, copier- and I have yet to test the Fax.
Setting up the Fax was a bit involved, but I was able to do it properly.
I am thoroughly satisfield. HOWEVER, one critique about the original setup.
The USB connection ON THE EPSON UNIT was difficult. Whoever designed the "hidden" connector did not have normal users in mind. He/she had to have very slim fingers and "blind" eyesight to maneuver that connection. Magoo
