I love it!

I had an Epson CX4600 for about 5 years and absolutely loved it! Then about 2 months ago, it died suddenly and I was forced to quickly find a replacement. I've been happy with Epson, so was very pleased to find a great price deal on a Workforce 310. Has separate ink cartridges which is a must for me. Took it home, hooked it up using the wireless option and I LOVE IT! It is SO fast compared to my previous CX4600. But I especially love being able to print from another room and the page is sitting in the tray by the time I walk to the printer (and I don't have a LARGE house).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast, reliable and does everything I need. Third Epson for me and I'll stick with them as long as they keep making products this well.

I purchased this from an Apple Reseller about a month ago.
I've had no trouble with it. It works as promised, is easily fast enough for home-office use, hasn't jammed and produces fine color copies. I like the multi-function features and especially wireless scanning. The size is reasonable given all it does and the industrial design is appealing. Ease of use is fine. Any ''how to" problems I had were quickly handled by a knowledgable Tech Service Rep.
My only negative is the noise the printer makes when taking the paper to print. Should be dampened by 50%. Doesn't have to be as quiet as laser printer but less startling would be much better.

Worst Epson I ever owned!

For at least 15 years I have owned Epson printers, because of their reliability and quality; especially printing photos. I recently purchased an Epson Workforce 310. I also have an Epson Stylus CX6400 connected to the same computer. Sometimes when I have a lot of documents to print, I will use two printers at once. When I loaded the print drivers for the 310 it screwed up my print drivers for the 6400 so bad, I could not use either printer. Finally I had to uninstall both drivers, go online and download both drivers into separate folders, and CANNOT use both printers at the same time, as they now interfere with each other. This did not happen when I had a CX 86 as my second printer. They worked beautifully together. Additionally, there is a delay of several minutes (5 - 10) from the time I send the document to the printer and when the printer begins printing. What's up with that? Big mistake to buy this printer. Will NEVER own another workforce again. May just use this one for target practice when I buy another printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent all-in-one home-network printer, easy to setup. A bit noisy,but very good print quality. Ink is somewhat expensive.

I use this printer with my iMac running SL. I used the USB not Ethernet. I do not use the fax. Like most Epson printers it is difficult to print on card stock, the paper does not feed easily. It is noisy but it works for my basic needs.

Very pleasant surprise

This printer is a workhorse, and does very well with different kinds of papers and graphic images, and it does not use as much ink as my previous printer. The setup was a breeze, and the overall functionality is fine. The price was very reasonable.
The only minus I have is that it is a bit noisy.
I would recommend this to a friend!
