Rinsing Woes!

In less than 4 years this product has stopped rinsing my clothes. It just shuts down and flashes the start button. This happens on all washing selections (Speed Wash, Colors, Whites, etc).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this machine

We bought it a few years ago and it has given us wonderful service. We did have to replace the boot seal in the front one time and that was it. It runs like a champ.

Great....NOW

Have had this washer since 10/2009, and have had problems with the spin. Goes off balance (even when level) and the washer was walking across the floor, the clothes were full of water (dripping) when it stopped the cycle after 3 tries. Good thing it didn't ever come disconnected to the water source! Finally today my son putted 1/4" molding around the complete machine, did 3 loads and fortunately, no walking and it corrected the load on its own. Gets the clothes so clean with a thimble of soap so it is doing a great cleaning job. Lets hope the anchoring helped.

Mold??? I would rate this high if it wasn't mold

I have had this washer for over a year and with five people in the house I use it a lot haven't had any major issues till now it started to smell as I opened door so after looking through I notice there is mold on the rubber part at basket??? I often run the basket cleaner mode how am I getting mold???

The washer produces very stale odor. Drain trap collects excess water, etc.

I purchased this washing machine 3 years ago! It worked great for the first year! Ever since its been nothing but problems.... that cost lots of $$$$$ to fix! I want to drop this washing machine off at the GE Front door!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for less than 2.5 years and the machine just stopped working. Would not recommend this product. Spins, just doesn't' wash anymore.

Broke down after 2.5 years

I have had this washer for about 2.5 years and the inner basket has come loose. I Googled the problem and found this be a very common problem. I haven't spoke to GE customer support but I am believing I will get the same run-around that I have found 100's of have gotten from GE.
