This TV is great, I love everything about it. THe color is really like being there. Me and my wife look are wating shows and saying "Do you see how clear that is, wow it looks so real." The internet hookup was easy, I am now putting DVDs on one of the computers on my network and watching them in full HD plays so many forms of meda all of my downloaded movies play also. If your thinking about getting this think no more, JUST GET IT! you wont be sorry.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, newtworking playing downloaded movies

Got this TV second hand, and i have to say i was QUITE impressed with it. The overall picture quality is great, like you can reach out and touch whatever it is you're watching. The sound quality from the speakers is great, and the net apps make it so much easier for me to access my netflix account.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I bought this TV after seeing it in several places. It has just about everythibg I wanted (plus a few I didn't know I wanted) and the picture is glorious. I did find two shortcomings. First, the remote is rather small for my aging eyes and it's really tough in the dark - nothing is illuminated. Second, I wish the tuner was a little better. Some channels ehich I received on my a/d converter are ;ost to me with the set's built-in tuner.
Overall, it's a great TV.

I would recommend the LH50 series without hesitation. I am a cautious, careful buyer. I always do my research, including an in-store visual review of things like monitors and TVs. Numbers are an indicator, but don't tell the whole story. There are LCD flatscreens out there with slightly better pictures, and there are brands out there that may be a bit cheaper, but LG has a winner here that has a top-notch picture at a very good price point. And that is all before considering the internet connectivity which works flawlessly. My Netflix setup was simple and painless. There are only a couple things the TV does not have: built in WiFi and audio out. Built-in sound has good quality and volume. Oh, and for picture quality I would have to give this TV a 4.5, but that's not an option. Only one brand I visually reviewed had a *slightly* better picture (IMHO). Again I strongly recommend this TV.

42" Monitor

This is my first flat screen monitor & I'm happy with my decision.
I've seen the LG products on display in sports bars & shopping malls. I was impressed with the picture quality & for that reason I bought the LG.
You should understand that the picture quality is only as good as the signal quality. I changed out the cable within my house to have the picture quality I saw in other stores.

Outstanding Product

Following the recommendation of a good friend in the commercial sector of the TV and Audio business I was told to heavily consider the LG product line. They are outstanding in quality, ease of use and value driven. This is the third set I have added to my home. I simply can't say enough good things about the products.

This TV is a great value. It is a high quality TV, wish great features, such as connecting to Netflix instantly. The HD is great. You can even turn off the 120hz pretty easily so that you can watch regular tv, without the weird abrupt motion.

this is a nice television. it is in fact the first brand new tv i have ever purchased. the netcast feature is nice, which is the reason for the purchase, however, there are not many applications for it. i havent had many problems with the sound, just with select streamed videos, which may have been the fault of the content. one other thing, i cant believe this didnt come wireless, as do some of their newer products with netcast, other than that it was a good buy, at the low price i gave for it, and has nice picture quality.
