I am terrible with printers and computers, but setting this printer up for wireless printing and using it was so simple, I had no issues at all. It prints great pictures and gives plenty of notice for low ink.
I would recommend this to a friend!

bad news

I just bought this machine. First time using does not work. Tells me the black ink is empty (brand new) so I take it out give it a shake and its fine HOWEVER then the Red ink tells me its out. Repeated this with every color. Okay Now print....the print quality is so bad I can not read what I have printed. In reading up on it , it says printer head needs cleaning :CLEANING FRON WHAT" it has not even performed 1 single operation yet. Day 2 still can not get it to work. My other Printer (Older and less bells & Whistles) is still perfectly functioning so I guess I just got a lemon. HELP!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the wireless capability, which is what I bought it for. I HATE that when one color runs out it won't print at all, even in the colors that are still full. Aftermarket or refill cartridges do not work well with it and Epson ink isn't cheap, which is why, of course, the printer is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Its good but...

The printer for basic printing and photos is OK but the ink tends to run out too quickly(suggest you use the high yield inks for more prints) and the front door trat where the copies and prints come out is a little flimsy. Its a good printer for basic uses. Kudos for being able to print wireless to from my laptop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer is the Best printer I have ever had. Now I just saw it has been "DISCONTINUED"???
Why in the world would you ever discontinue this excellent Printer? It does everything you could want in a printer.
Put it in a corner of a room so far away from your desk or lap-top computer, press the scan - print- make copies - etc.....& when you have the time to go to the printer in the corner in a room far from where your working on your computer, whatever you asked it to do, IT HAS DONE IT, & I might add done it beautifully.... I love my printer. It still feels new to me....
