NX515 serves the purpose

This is an economical printer that generally operates without problems and provides surprisingly great photo results. However, I find the feeder to be problematic with anything over 24 lb. and the paper loading structure is cheap. But it is a good workhorse. Just wish it had auto duplex. The other drawback is that to use the scanner the USB plug must be plugged in, so that negates the convenience of its wireless feature which allows the printer to be farther away from the PC.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing easy to setup printer

Well i've had the printer for only a few minutes but so far it's been amazing real easy setup took only less than 20 minutes full featured software and nice looking printer epson keep up the excelent work A+A+A+

I've had this printer for a year and it has worked flawlessly. We use it daily in our household. Scans look great. Pictures are bright and clear. Printing documents are fast. Wireless is easy to setup and never had a moments problem with it. I use this printer with XP, Windows 7 and Linux (Yes, there are Linux drivers available!) If Ink is an issue for you check out third party dealers and you will find they make refillable cartridges for this printer. Drops the printing cost down to pennys. I would certainly buy another Epson printer!
