Ink Heads Dried out Quick!

I bought one of these 8 months ago and used it a few times a week. One day the ink heads were clogged and I tried to unclog them using the print set-up. I went through ink very quickly and the ink head was/is still clogged. A ink store told me Espons printers are know for this. You must clean the ink heads weekly or they will clog and your out of luck. Also the scanner is on a angle and annoying if you scan often. For this price there are others much better. Plus images looked horrible printed too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

good value for the price..a bit flimsy in construction and a bit of trouble to activate (had to "wash" the inkjets quite a few times before it began to print properly) but love that it came packaged with a full compliment of inks and it is easy to use and set up a wireless link

it works well. i had no trouble getting it to connect to my wireless home network. so far the print quality - both regular and photographic seem excellent. so far i am pleased

This printer gives good copy and is very fast. However, it is very noisy. It is a nuisance to try to print envelopes. Paper must be removed and the paper slot adjusted for every envelope. It seems to use a lot of ink. I am replacing cartridges constantly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have found the prints to be exceptional. The staff has been the most courteous professionals for any type of technical support related to any type of computer or computer device that I have ever spoken to. Friendly, fast, courteous and very knowledgeable. The gentleman asked if if while I was waiting for a download would I like to take a break and get some water or something as it may take a couple of minutes to complete the process once download was complete. That is what I call service!!! I will never forget him. Just wish I had his personal phone for assistance. It was obvious his mother and father raised a gentleman and conscientous worker. The only problems I have experienced is I think my paper may be too thick and is causing some roller difficulties and my wireless connection keeps going out and I think I am doing something wrong and need to call again. Hope I get the same gentleman.

So far I like the printer, especially the wireless part. My only complaint is how noisy the printer is when the paper is loaded for printing.

this item is a bad buy. it will not print, scan or turn on from the computer. i have to walk to the other side of the house to turn it on manually,and off manually.it does not give me an answer if my scan to email was successful

The print quality is great! We've even printed pictures that are good enough to hang up on our walls! However, the ink does not last very long at all! After only 3 pictures and maybe 20 pages of black and white printouts, we already have to replace the ink cartridges. Im just sure exactly what the longevity of the cartridges are, but that doesnt seem very good to me.
