The NX515 is a quality product for the money. It's easy to set-up the WIFI, scan and print documents. It's a great printer for a in house network. Does good quality photo printing. The only improvement I would make is in the ink usage. Ink usage is higher than I would expect.

Reserving Opinion--Just bought.

Today while teaching a Heritage Foto class, the first part of the class covers how to scan vintage photos. Everytime I'd put vintage photos or a small object to scan on the scanner glass bed, it would slide forward and off due to the forward tilt design of the NX515. Not good! On the positive side, I do like the various ppi scan settings available.

good quality print but expensive ink

This printer was easy to set up and a little tricky to learn how to use it. The biggest problems I've had are: it is very slow and uses a lot of ink. Also , when the ink is starting to run low, a notification appears on the computer when printing. I ignored that message for 3 weeks and continued to print at least 50 more pages before I changed the cartridge. The message disappeared after the 3rd or 4th notification and didn't return until I had printed the 50 more sheets of paper. I then switched to the larger black ink cartridge. Also I've rarely used the colored in and it is slowly disappearing.

To be honest this is one heck of a printer for the money! You can go wireless network, or connected, scan to email if you want, photo savvy software, and card slots and a usb for memory sticks, and fast. Real fast. You hear a big click when it starts to print, then the print is in your hand, ... Yeah, i't that fast! prints are sharp, crisp, and color correct. I'm very happy with mine. Excellent for the price.

This was recommended by my son who works with computer systems. I ordered it and installed it with the instructions that came with the printer. I did not need a computer person to install, it was so easy. I have not used all the functions, I am very happy with this printer. I would recommend to anyone considering buying a wireless printer.

Over-all, al good value for the price. Lots of features which are actually usefull. Only downside is the fact that it's a noisy printer. I'm happy with it overall.

Exellent Machine

This machine does everything I need it to do. I have used all the functions and really satisfied.
Upon initial installation, I thought I had a print speed problem and contacted Customer Support. Their response was immediate and accurate. The "problem" was a Microsoft interface situation. They quickly walked me through the setup and clear the "problem". Epson's CS people are as great as the printer.
