Disappointed

It was a nice, affordable all-in-one device while it worked, but unfortunately after a few weeks of inactivity the print heads clogged and I was never able to get it to work properly again. Wasted quite a bit of money on new ink cartridges and print head cleaner. Biggest complaint? It requires all colors to be able to print black and white documents.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had issues since I have hooked this printer up. Poor quality images, freezing up , paper jams. I only used the proper ink, so i know that was not an issue. I would not recommend. I have had to run maintenance on the printer heads each time I use it, I get one good image and then back the lines.

Ditch it!

Ink costs too much and it uses a lot. It holds documents hostage until you buy more and will not function until ink cartridges are replaced. The scan/fax auto feed always grabs two pages at a time causing pages to be missing when scanning or faxing

The ink cartridges are expensive. If you run out of ink it will not let you scan. Basically you are held hostage to use their ink. If you use someone else ink they dont even want to talk to you. Buy a stand alone scanner and printer.

Cannot *ever* recognize ink cartridge

What a sad machine. I called about the "cannot recognize ink cartridge" error and was told that "the ink sometimes dries" and to replace the cartridges. So I replaced my 6 month old ink cartridges with new ones, printed exactly 4 sheet before getting the same error. This will be my last Epson.

Wrong Choice

Worst printer/scanner I've ever had. Does not scan well in B&W mode. Runs out of ink quickly and won't let you perform other functions until cartridge is replaced. Seems to need head cleaning all the time, but not sure if that is lack of use on my part. I am very disappointed in this Epson product.

Good printer but NO DRIVER AVAILABLE !!

I like the printer but have recently upgraded operating system to Mac OSX Lion and THERE IS NO PRINTER DRIVER AVAILABLE ON THE EPSON WEB SITE. What is with that?? The printer is now of no value to me.
