This printer does an overall excellent job. I use the wireless ability for various computers in the house, but it can also be used with a cord connection. The prints are excellent. The scanner works well, too.
The one caveat: this printer is incredibly noisy!

When I received my printer I always have doubts. But this new Epson NX515 replacing a NX200 that we had, I now have no doubts about it. Very easy and fast to setup, I went wirelessly and went without a flaw. The printer is faster and quieter than our previous. I went with Epson because of our previous printer, I liked it, but I like this one better. A very good bargain for the money.

Wireless printing

It's so nice not having to be connected by a cable to print from your PC. I bought a refurbished Epson NX515 all in one printer at a great price. I've had this printer for approx. 5 wks now and am very happy with it. The print quality is very high although it is a little noisy. I've had 2 other printers from 2 different manufacturers that I've gotten rid of.I also own another Epson Inkjet printer a C84 which I've had from a number of yrs. and it is a great printer. Epson's are my printer of choice.

Its a fast printer, but is not always fast, sometimes it takes a while for the printer to start. The collated feature does not function. The ink is not refillable and is not available from generic suppliers, Ink is very expensive and normal cartridge does not last very long.
Also, the scan function does not work over wifi, its only a cable- in function.

First thing I noticed is that it uses up ink cartridges very quickly, faster than R220 we had before. Also there is some kind of a software problem. Every 3rd or 4th time I turn it on the printer head moves to the right, pauses, and then continually moves to the left about 8 inches and then back to the right where it starts this cycling again. I CANNOT turn off the printer to stop it. I end up have to unplug the printer to stop it. I have had 4 Epson printers before. I had one that would print on CDs and DVDs, I miss that feature.

Even though I bought this refurbished at the Epson store, it looked new. It prints very fast but it's noisy. I tried to set up wireless printing through my Airport, but it wasn't too straightforward, and my network settings got messed up so I had to backtrack to get my network working again. It took some effort to do this because I couldn't get printing to work at all on my main computer and I lost my network connection altogether. All is well now. I wouldn't recommend this printer for wireless printing unless you really, really know what you're doing.
