I have not used all the features of the NX515 yet but I can tell you that it prints color photos lightening fast! And, the colors are fabulous! I love it but I am just getting used to the controls now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Step Up

I have had very good service from my Epson CX3800 for many years. However, it was time for more through-put, faster operation and less head cleaning, and after careful consideration I selected the Epson NX515. I do promotion and advertising for a charitable organization, and the NX515 does everything I need in an excellent manner. Brochures, posters, raffle tickets and correspondance are all executed flawlessly. If the NX515 serves for as many years as the CX3800, I will continue to be a very happy Epson customer.

Okay Purchase For The Money

Wireless function is awesome, data transfer is as fast as if you were connected via USB or ethernet cable. Print quality is very good and photos come out with remarkable quality. However... The paper feed mechanism can be improved, initial feed of the paper is too hard and jerky. If the paper feed guides aren't adjusted "just so", the printer will eat your paper and jam all over the place. If Epson could modify it to gently load in the paper, I think this problem would be solved. Otherwise all other functions are what you would expect from a high performance printer.

So far I like it just fine. It is avery good printer for it's price, probably the best. Still learning about it's features, abilities and how to use it with my computer. Only one objection, the cost of ink cartridges and how long they last. I find printer paper' cost to be very reasonable and affordable though. I really don't know much about computers and peripherals, but I am learning. I'm 59 and I didn't grow up using these things, and could not afford them when they first came onto the market and not until recently. Experience is invaluable.

this epson is great.as always,I prefer epson because you only replace the color ink you need.other printers need the whole tri-color cartridge,even if you are out of just one of the colors.saves money.this ones does everything i need it do.

I purchased a refurbished NX515 and I am happy as can be. It shows no signs of ever being used. It arrived in record time and setup went without a hitch. I do not do a lot of printing (not daily) but so far I am very happy with my purchase.

The sales person, Kyle, was very knowledgeable on the product and key features of the printer. I decided to purchase it off his recommendation. The set up was a breeze and I am very pleased with the printer. I will recommend this printer to anyone who is in the market for a new printer.
