Looked at several sets recommended by sites such as cnet.com and consumer reports. I purchased this set and have not been disappointed!

A great LED TV & a great value.

After weeks of research and going to & from the stores to compare LED sets, I finally decided to roll the dice with the LG 55LH90. I was thinking about getting one of the "super-thin" LED tv's from the "other" guy, but didn't care too much about their edge lighting; saw shadows in some spots around the edges plus didn't like the glossy light reflections coming off the screen. With the LH90, I get none of this! Plus, the LH90 was $500 less!! Excellent picture color in HD or SD, decent tv speaker sound and a lot of features to play with. If your a gamer, you'll love this set! However, I do notice sometimes that when watching a program that there can be a lip sync delay, but it's not all the time and my tv came with a dead pixel. I'll call LG and see what happens. But other than that I'm lovin' this set!! I recently found out that this product is discontinued, so I'm sure it'll be even cheaper now. Get it while you can!! :)

Great TV for the Money! Perfect gateway HD TV!

I bought this TV after reading multiple reviews on Cnet. For the price range I was looking for this TV was great, Cnet gave it a great review and it was prefect for my first HD TV.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: older model (as of now)

my wife loves the style and picture I am impressed with the performance a little blooming on some programs but I new that going in My blue ray player looks 3d the picture is so real love the tv would buy it again

I bought this TV because my 56" DLP went out. In the store, I thought it had the best picture...I wasn"t wrong. The picture, sound quality, and simplicity of use make this TV a real winner!!! Very well worth the money!!

I looked at a number of TVs including major competitors and none compare to this 55lh90.
This is my first LG product and it won't be the last!
The picture is simply amazing! The colors are so vibrant! I would recommend this tv everyone.

I had been researching LED/LCD televisions for quite some time and after a lot of consideration i finally decided on my new LG. Overall bang for your buck it is a great tv. I looked at others and they were good but the overall value was to great to pass up. I have recently learned that this model has been discontinued, which is a shame, but that will just mean that an even larger bargain is awaiting some else. We love the picture, especially hooked up to our blu-ray, and seems how we don't have a surround sound system yet, the built in speakers around the back are just fine and sound good. I would easily recommend this to anyone.
