This set is has a fantastic picture. It's easy to use. The manual is on CD and not in paper form which is not customer friendly for a lot of people. The biggest problem with this set is the lipsink problem. I have looked at many many digital tv's. I have installed and setup many digital tv's for friends and family. I have never seen a lipsink problem as bad as this set is. The problem is it doesn't happen all of the time. Sometimes it is minimal and sometimes it is extremely bad. I have heard there is a usb firmware fix coming for this problem. IF SO WHEN? Again a remarkable TV picture. Please advise when the lipsink problem has been fixed.

The Best for the Least Money

This is one awesome Televsion. Calling it a television is almost a slight. It is so good that it's only problem is that you may see all the imperfections with your media provider. Blu-ray is awesome. The way it's meant to be. Our U-verse is very good, but the TV is so accurate it notices flaws with U-verse's HD compression codec, and it even varies depending on which High Def Channel you happen to be viewing. Of course this is not the TV's fault.

Awesome Performance and Value

This is the best HD TV purchase I have ever made. This TV looks excellent in every format I have used, from PS3 to Blu-Ray to SD TV. The only gripe with this TV is when you turn on the TruMotion on Low or High, sometimes there is static on the screen, usually around the edges of shapes, such as people walking across the camera or during a scrolling shot. I believe other TV's have a way to turn on a faster refresh rate with out cranking up the sharpness, but this TV does not give you a separate option there. Firmware update could take care of this though.

Incredible Picture and Performance

I actually went to purchase a competitor and when I compared the 2 in the store it was a "No Brainer" that the the LG was a superior picture. It is a bit thicker and not quite as sleek in design but that was not a feature I cared about since I wasn't hanging it, but it could easily be hung and still look awesome, especially if you don't see it from the side. The back-lit feature is so obviously superior to the side-lit of the competition, giving you vivid blacks and bright strong contrast, along with the true 240hz which leaves no "motion trail'. The controls and operation are very user-friendly and the styling is a definite "WOW FACTOR" as well. I also have a LG 42" LCD which is equally as wonderful and was definitely an additional motivation to purchase this model since I have had such a satisfactory ownership experience from it.

Best LED LCD Availble 4D$$$

After much research pulled the trigger on the 55LH90. It is fantastic combination of quality/performance and value. The only TV i could could find with Plasma like picture w/o the drawbacks. It looks good an is great to look at. Out of the box experience was very good.
HD cable content is great, colors are precise and very bright even in standard or natural mode. My wife's comment was "its so bright you need sunglasses". Blu-ray is out of this world,almost like 3-D. It has lots of adjustments so you can fine tune w/o paying $400 for calibration. Great for basketball and NASCAR, can't wait for Football season.Best gift I ever gave myself.

Picture quality is excellent. Deep blacks, vibrant colors, and good internal speakers make this set an excellent choice for anyone who cares about a quality viewing experience. I play all the current game systems on this set and the panel is fast enough to keep up with them just fine without noticeable lag.
