sparkling picture - blows me out of my seat

Went with this set becasue it combines the advantages of plasma and LCD. It is bright and still has real intense blacks. WOW I could not be happier. My room has many windows so I was fearful that a plasma would be too dim for daytime viewing. Many plasma owners I know are now jealous. wizard based calibration was easy to use. I paid for a pro to com in and I cannot see any differences in what he did and waht I did with the wizard. so I wish I had not bothered with the professional calibration.
Anyway, very pleased with this set. One other high point... Sound is exceptional. I don't use my full surround sound rig for normal TV viewing.

Good tv

It seems everytime I buy an LG TV it discontinues. Make sure you get an extended warranty. I like LG and always buy this brand. Have had excellent customer service also. TV has good features. The LED makes it a brighter screeen than plasma. Side viewing can be a problem, but my wall mount swivels so not a problem.

I was looking for anled television to replace rear projection Was intriqued by the process of using less power. Researched and then Purchased the 55LH90 and have been sery satisfied ever since I set it up. The color is super as isthe definition. Even my wife who states it justa television was impressed with the clarity and definition. We have it in our living room which is very bright during the day and you can still view picture from any angle. would highly recommend this television to anyone

Fantastic Television

This is by far the best television I have ever owned. I conducted a lot of research before buying the 55LH90. The television has surpassed all of my expectations. Viewing Blu-ray movies is absolutely fantastic. I found the television to be very easy to set-up and operate. Congratulations LG for making such an outstanding product.

Before purchasing, I thoroughly researched this product (Consumer Reports, retail websites, etc.). All showed exceptionally high marks. My wife and I were very impressed when we saw this TV at the retail store. We were even more impressed when we brought it home and put it on our wall. The picture is crisp and the built in audio is outstanding. We’ve had this TV for a couple of months now and continue to be impressed with the quality and features. The initial set up was incredibly simple. The only negative, (and it’s a small one) is the glossy finish which attracts a lot of dust. We can live with that. All in all, this is the TV to get!

Wonderful TV

My wife and I bought this TV about 6 months ago to replace a broken rear projection TV. I spent lots of time researching LCD TVs and this one seemed to be the best in its price range. We have been extremely happy with our choice. The picture is superb and the TV uses much less energy than our old TV. I used a watt meter to compare the TVs.

Sound sync not good

The sync of the sound and picture is not good. I think it may be the fault of the Time Warner cablebox that is the problem. It s not distracting most of the time. The problem seems to vary with different formats (regular TV or HD).
