Great LED TV

This TV is unbelievable. The picture quality is so crisp and clear that it is like watching a live play in person. It has added a new dimension to watching TV. I did a fair amount of shopping and looked at several other high rated LED sets but in the end the LG took the prize. I would not hesitate in purchasing this TV.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design
Cons: would have been nice to have internet capability.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I now have 2 LG TVs. 1 in the living room (this 55 inch) 1 in the bed room, (37inch) with a LG blue ray player on each!

We wanted a good TV that would look nice as well, be HD and have many other features. LG is a great brand and we have had no problems.

I looked at the Samsung and LG LED 55's. Due to my viewing room being flooded with background natural light, the LG set would work best because of the mat finish. The Samsung has a glossy finish which would not work well for my situation.
The set is amazing. I'm a sports watcher and I can not be more pleased. Very fast refresh rate with fantastic color production. My wife likes watching foreign movies with subtitles. This set makes it bearable for me to spend a date night on the sofa. I can actually read the subtitles without much effort.
This set is thicker than the Samsung. That's okay and here is why: The cables are much easier to connect. Because the Samsung is thinner, your cables may not fit next to one another as easily as they will on the LG. Also, if you are wall mounting, then the LG will work better for you. Again, it comes down to how much room you'll need for all your connections.

Fantastic picture!

This TV replaced an old 55" Mitsubishi projection model. The picture is stunning, the set up was simple, and the our jaws drop when watching sporting events.
Movie viewing is a treat, and we even get a great picture from our HD cable hookup.
After much research on these 55' units, I couldn't be more pleased- LG is quality in my book!

Have been looking at upgrading my projection TV to an LCD. Reviewed a lot of different TV's. Spent a little more money for a LG LED LCD. WOW!! Picture is really crisp and clear. Glad I spent a little more. Excellent quality.

This is absolutly the best choice I have made in a long time,I had been contemplating getting an HD tv for some time and read reviews on all the top name TV's. After considering other makes I chose this one and am VERY happy with the TV. The best price,Quality,and overall best set around. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a TV of this class. Very,very happy.
