I <3 my TV

This tv was my first foray in the world of flat panel/HD tv's and so my opinions are a little askew. That aside, I love this tv. The picture quality is outstanding. I haven't even gotten close to utilizing all of the features this tv provides. That will come with more time as I become accustomed to the product, but it is well worth the money I spent on it. I would recommend this or the scaled down versions to anyone looking for a new tv. I would say the only problem I've had is figuring out how to use the features. Again, that will come with time as the documentation provided for this tv is vast.

Picture quality will blow you away! Specially while watching HD TV programing and Blue Ray DVD's. Colors are bright and sharp, better than my previous 50" LG plasma TV. However, in the "ease of use" the LG plasma (50PX1D) offered quicker access to your programed favorites by continusly pressing the favorites button it would change the favorite chanels, on the 55LH90 you have to press the favorites button, scroll to the chanel and then press the enter button to see the favorite chanel. Another minus is the fact that this TV does not allow you to re-name the chanel names or assign network logos like the old plasma did, so you have to memorize all your local TV stations call signs to go to the station you want. I hope LG comes up with a firmware update that addreses these two isues, then it would be the perfect all around 5 Star rated TV. The 120Hz TruMotion works real well, by eliminateing that anoying fast action blur on objects diring fast scenes. Also it was a great idea having an USB and HDMI port along side the usual AV ports on the side of the TV (dont have to go to the back of the TV) allowing me to plug in a USB storage stick to see photos and short videos. Come on LG, figure out how to fix those two little setbacks and I'll keep bragging about you to all my friends!

A Present To Myself!

The 55LH90 is definately the best priced led out right now... the only truthfull difference between spending another 900 dollars is most likely super thin LED TV and having even more HDMI and usb ports.
This TV is a top dog for sure I was very satisfied I actually purchased the TV a day before my 27th birthday.
I love it and enjoy myself enjoying it ;) thank you LG

This is one of the best purchases that my family has made. This LED-LCD TV has met all the expectations that we wanted from this TV. The TruMotion 240Hz makes the picture so life like, I feel I can reach and touch the person on the screen. Setup was a charm. I also liked the fact that there was not a 90 page paper manual included, instead there was a disk. This not only helps the environment but saves space in my manual box. LG did you did a great job on producing a 55" TV that no only looks great in our living room but saved us in the savings department.

Best Ive seen. Awsome Pic. Love gaming and have no problems.Call of Duty is my game Great detail. NFL and NCAA in HD is awesome, watching the players on the sidelines sweating you think you could wipe the sweat off with a towel. Now that's detail. My only con is the sound. Not theater quality but ok if that's not what you are looking for. But really have'nt found any with good sound, so. Easy fix with external speakers.

This is the best TV I have ever seen hands down! Movies, sports, HD are just fantastic! Even the sound is great. The picture is perfect! Consumer Reports rates this TV #1.
