The salesman suggested this tv to me. He wasn't wrong. What a great buy. I am more than satisfied with the quality and picture. Plus the great features. Was also easy to set up.

We spent over an hour in the store looking at the different brands and models, and I kept returning to the LG 55LH40. It appeared to me to have the best picture and the features I wanted. This is my first LCD television and the clarity and sharpness of the LG are impressive. On getting the set home, the set up instructions were easy to follow and I had it up and running in a short period of time. I would recommend an LG television to any one looking for a quality product.

Everyday I turn this TV on I am blown away with the picture quality. And for the price it has to be the best value I have ever got on an electronic purchase.
Plus I added a LG Blu Ray home theatre & together with this TV our movie watching expierience is just unbelievably great!!!

We wanted to upgrade from our existing CRTs to a LCD or LED TV. We couldn't justify the increased price to go with a competitor's LED TV when the LG LCD TV had a very high quality and gave us a larger TV for the price. We have been extremely satisfied with our purchase and the quality of the picture we received. Blu-ray movies look terrific on the screen and the speakers are adequate for just a stand-alone model.

I was nervous when I decided to purchase a TV, but this one has been great. It has so many top-tier features for such a bargain of a television. I recommend it highly.

This is my honest opinion, 5 years ago, LG is not my favorites brand to choose for my home enterainment, but in the last two or three years LG was suprised me about their design and quality, so last year I went to store and purchased for me an LG 55LH40 55' TV and I loved it. The sound, pix image, design and price was fabulous. Since then, I did purchased about 5 more products from LG for my home entertaiment. It seems like everyday the products made from LG was incredible. So, I did recommend my family and friends for it and I hope you guy out there willing to give LG a try. I also wish LG will invent more products in the future and keep continue stays in business forever. Thanks LG YOU THE BEST.....
