well worth the price

this is a great tv ,picture sound and clarity is excellent .the only dislike is there is more glare on the screen then i would like and u cant make all shows complete full screen like other tvs,but i would still buy another tv just like this

Excellent TV for the money

Excellent picture quality when connected to a home theater computer at 1920 by 1080 resolution. Great for movies and high definition TV as well. Excellent value.
My TV had no lip sync issues. LG has resolved this a while ago, so all new TVs are good out of the box with no need to tweak anything.
Pros: Quality, easy to use, Style/Design

great value for a quality big-screen LCD

i decided to buy my first 'big' tv since the LED LCD TVs were driving the standard LCDs down in price this holiday season. I checked many brands focusing on the 52" to 55" range and landed on this sleek TV after much research and a few store visits. The matte finish is great for anti-glare, it came pre-assembled to the stand upon opening of the box (plug & play), the factory sound is much better then i expected, and the energy savings and picture quality options are great to chose from. My only complaint would be if the TV were wall-mounted and the inability to turn-off the 120Hz refresh. The main ports on the back are a little tough to get to if they remain flush with the wall. Although i haven't done much research to turn off the 120Hz refresh. If the ability exists it certainly isn't intuitive as i checked all the available options, but i will do some research to see if this ability exists. I will say that the TruMotion 120Hz on this LG is of a much better quality then some of the other TVs that have given me headaches before.
Great for video games, Blue-Ray movies, and Sports. This TV actually helped me to find out that the HD cable box i'm currently using is only outputting at 1080i and 720p - i have since called the cable company to rectify this problem and get a proper 1080p signal to the TV.

cant adjust picture size in non HD mode. In order to add surround sound you have to have a HDMI plug on the surround. Overall completely satisfied and love the TV. Highly recommend and is a excellent value

Big Bang for the Bucks
