I have always wanted a Kitchen Aid mixer and finally received this mixer as a gift. I bake and cook often so I wanted a mixer that can save me time and produce great results. I have to admit, I wanted a bigger mixer. BUT, realized that bigger isn't always better. This size is just perfect for me and will definitely want to own more than just one!

I love to cook and my teen-age daughter loves to bake, and our hand-mixer was just not cutting it any more - especially as one of the blades kept popping out! Our new Kitchenaid 450 *totally* blew it away, so much so that that hand-mixer went out with the trash. We've made bread, cookies, cakes and more, and we're only just starting.
