I have been researching range hoods. after looking at the specs. and reviews this is the hood I want and need. My wife hates when I cook fish or use garlic. She says the odor stinks up the house, This range hood would give me a lot of freedom to cook what I like,

It's stunning

This hood is terrific. The fan is ducted to the outside and removes any cooking odors or smoke with ease and the halogen lights provide excellent illumination to the range. And, it's really stunning to look at, too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So Loud!

I have been using this for a month and wish I would have been able to test it at the store but it wasn't on display. It has a great design and modern lines like I wanted but it so loud. There are 3 settings but even on the lowest setting it is impossible to have a conversation while it is on. We are young and have good hearing but no one can talk to each other while this fan is going. In fact, even my older kids leave the kitchen when I have it on since it is so annoying. I gave it one star for the design and one star for actually circulating the air, but I would not purchase this again if I had the chance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
