Buzz Issue Cured!

The picture on this TV is outstanding!!!
The Buzz issue bummed me out too.
Well there is a tech repair sheet out from Samsung to fix it.
There are small rubber washers that will fix the buzz issue.
Call Samsung and tell them to come fix it!
There service is the best in the buisness!!!

This set is unbelievable! The picture just pops! Watching NFL HD on NBC was the most amazing picture I have ever seen.

nice design, bad performance

This was a new set exchange for a previous years plasma model. The set is beautiful out of the box. Thin design, great AR filter. However, it buzzes very loudly. This is not normal plasma hum. It's a loud and varying buzzing sound that increases and decreases based on the brightness of the picture being shown. It is audible at 12-15 feet away with the volume on the tv set to 15. Not normal buzz. After 5 repairs on my previous set, Samsung decided to exchange my old set for this new set. Already had one repair visit on the B860 by a samsung service tech. Now I have to have another panel exchange. After having to take 7 days off from work for repairs and deliveries, I now have to take another day off for another panel exchange. Customer Service is great, repair centers are great. Products are faulty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have had this TV for about 3 weeks now. The most AWESOME picture and quality I have ever seen. Truly impressed.

Always wanted a 50" flatscreen but couldn't afford it until now! The picture is lifelike, feels like I was on the football field at the game!

No buzzing!!!!!!!!!!!! Picture is awsome!!!! I looked at a lot of TV's and love this one. By they way no buzzing!!!!!!!! It is impressive. I wouldn't buy any other tv.

Excellent value but...

So I have had no problems with my 860 for the past month and have been very happy with it until today. I turned on the TV to watch some football and the previously mentioned buzzing struck. Overall I am happy with the TV's performance although I have not figured out how to make my Bluray look like it does at the store (almost as if you are actually watching them on stage). I guess I have to make some calls and see what needs to be done with the buzzing. I will get post remarks on after purchase service as it happens (or doesn't).
I would recommend this to a friend!

No Buzz - get this TV before it is gone!!!

Forget what you read about the BUZZING. Before buying I read every review there was. I figured about 15% of the buyers were getting the buzzers. I was actually going to get the 650 to save money, get there ever so slightly deeper black and not get the ultra coolness factor of a 1.2" TV. I couldn't actually get the 650 locally and I just don't like to buy this kind of stuff online in case anything goes wrong. I made a calculated risk and went for the 860 and man is this thing impressive. Solid. NO BUZZING or any weaknesses what-so-ever. Buy this TV before it is gone. Check out Cnet's review. They rate it the very highest - best of all TV 50"-53". Noooo Buzzzzz!!!
The other complaint is the sound. I'd say it is adequate, but who really buys a TV like this and doesn't add separate speakers?! You can use the TVs speakers as a perfect faux center channel fill...
