Better than I expected

This is our first HD TV and we couldn't be happier. The picture is awesome, but would definetly reccmmend getting a home theater system to go with it to get better sound. Set up was fairly easy but some of the instructions could have been writtten better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

As I sat on my bed and stared into the black screen that was about flash on and fill my world with vivid colors and sharp images, the likes of which I haven't seen, I hesitated. Why? Because it was too good to be true, a 40" LCD 1080p 120hz TV for close to $700, what was I smoking, something had to be wrong. The picture would probably pixelate, video games would probably freeze the screen, or the lamp would burn out within the week. These are the things I thought, but like most people what I think never turns out to be what happens. The TV in my opinion is flawless, I find that I prefer to watch anything on this television than on the 1080p 55" in my living room. Blu Rays? Fuggedaboutit, phenomenal. The settings are easy enough to play around with and not worry about resetting them. I have to say I read the reviews, they were all good and now I see why.

I have bought four Samsungs (3 - 40" and 1 - 52") and this is one the best among them. Excellent price, and beautiful picture. I will never buy another Sony, Panasonic or Toshiba. I have the 40" TV mounted to walls, and the LN40B630 is one of the lightest ones. Easy to setup and plenty of features.

this is my third of this exact model. 2 in bedrooms 1 in living room. I did a lot of research on flat screens and always come back and buy the samsung. The picture by far is the best out there. It is a breeze to set up and program. picture debth is fantastic. The anti blur is a must. had a sony before and would not even consider to go back to that brand. Only drawback and its very minor is the music the set plays when it turns off and on, its a little loud and if you have the sleep timer set it will wake you up sometimes. I have not figured out if it can be turned off or not. Buy this T.V.

very good over all; can't figure out any logical reason why the controls on the unit are not visible, it makes them bsically useless. An extreme case of style over function.
