Gets clothes clean

It gets the clothes clean. However, it doesn't have enough option for having the water level higher, or choices for rinse water other than cold. Right now it is making terrible noises, and it leaks on the floor if I do more than a small load. It is scheduled for repair.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will not wash two small items!

I have googled until my eyes want to pop out! About how to adjust the GE profile colossal capacity washing machine to where I don't have to run one load of laundry 3 times before they are even barely clean enough to consider them washed! Every other GE product I have ever owned has been great and very dependable and in great working order. But this one takes the cake! I really want to believe that there's a filter that is clogged up or the water level setting is off or something needs to be reset but I have just came to dead ends in every attempt so far. I need to figure out something because my laundry is really piling up on me with 2 daughters going back to school I have had to start washing some things by hand, I guess I need an old wash tub. I would really appreciate any suggestions. It seems like sometimes the laundry comes out dirtier than when it goes in. Sorry for my bad review. It's my first for any GE product ever. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. Have a nice day everyone!

Disgraceful

This machine leaves clothes dirty and full of white lint. I cannot tell if it is even using water! The machine often doesn't stop spinning either. I have to unplug it to get it to stop. I have used GE profits many times before but this is the absolute worst.

Best Washer Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved to a house that had a washer and dryer. We left this unit in the garage, under packing blanket, for 15-1/2 years. I have heard that storing for that long could dry out the seals and gaskets. I decided to try to put this washer in service again. I took it to the garage door opening and hooked it up. I filled it to its highest level and started it and ran it through its cycles. I did this three more times with no leaks. On the fifth try I put in a load to wash and to my surprise, no leaks!. I filled it and let is sit overnight, when I checked on it the next morning it was dry as a bone around it. We moved into our new house and 1 month later this GE PROFILE MDL WPRE6150K1WT IS WORKING GREAT!
