high efficiency washer

This is the worse washer I ever purchased, should have kept my old agitator washer. Does not clean clothes properly, tried adjusting water levels, cycles and detergents, with not luck. So much for the infusor and energy savings would rather have cleaner clothes and more water to clean them, not a happy customer.

The washer was repaired after a load was off balanced. The washer is better with the center thing than without. The waher will get off balance regardless how clothes are placed. The washer makes a very loud grind noise when washing. I will not buy another GE product unless I get to try it for 6 months. I am very disappointed in this washer.

SO SORRY I BOUGHT THIS WASHER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks good is very quiet and has great features but it DOES NOT CLEAN WORTH A DARN. Clothes come out twisted and mangled together and ANYTHING dark comes out with lint twisted into the crevices. I always have to de-lint all dark slacks after the have been washed.
I WISH I HAD NEVER BOUGHT THIS WASHER....but the matching dryer is great.

Waste of Money

We have had this washing machine and are now having to replace it. Since we purchased it, we have had it worked on two times and have spent as much as we paid for it on repairs.

Do not buy!

I have had this washer for less than 4 years and have already had to replace the control board. I have to add a 2nd drain to every load because the clothes are still soaking wet if I don't. What I really hate about this machine is that it doesn't clean my clothes. Isn't that what a washing machine is suppose to do? Not this one. I've tried everything, more soap, less soap, more water, less water, longer wash, shorter wash, etc... I'm saving my money to buy a new washer and you better believe I'll never buy GE anything again.

Manages to get clothes dirtier

Gunk/lint over all dark clothes, hopefully my white shorts aren't ruined. No fab softener used, we use the proper amount of clear soap. Did a wash of just bleach on hot, followed by the same w vinegar, didn't resolve at all.

Disappointing

High capacity washer that can't handle big loads. Water levels way too low. Automatic filling feature does not work properly. Some clothes still partly dry after wash cycle. Detergent left on clothes after wash and rinse. Poor cleaning. Confusing wash selections. Clothes too wet after spin cycle completed. Agitator too gentle.

leaks and very loud

very disappointed. very loud, does not clean the clothes, even small loads. Picked model due to tub size, would go back to old agitator model, don't care if it uses more water! very hard to find answers to find out what to do regarding leaking water. unable to get a person on the phone to talk to regarding problems with washer.
