Let Down

I bought it thinking I would be able to wash larger loads. I was told the unit would save energy. I does not get the clothes clean and I have been washing smaller loads. I have used the more expensive HE detergents and nothing seems to get them clean. There is actual sand in the dryer after drying the clothes that "washed" in the washer, sometimes as many as three times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

wish I had my old machine back, this one does not clean clothes, and makes
so much noise it sounds like a jet plane taking off when spinning,, don't buy this machine unless you want to buy another one that works

Good machine-bypass the water Autoload sensor

My machine is nearly 5 years old. Bought extended warranty. When it did not completely clean, service man said use the manual water fill positions. Cleaned great after that.
After that, it started making a loud clanking noise intermittently when spinning down. Of course, it never occurred when the service man came out, so I recorded the noise on my phone and let him listen. He replaced the Mode Shifter.
Works fine, quiet and spins the clothes almost dry (900 rpm, I think). After seeing some of the posts, I tried to put mine out of balance with a bunch of wet towels and it would 'thunk' one time and then spin normally. Not sure I understand a lot of these complaints. We use the ALL "HE" soap in prescribed amounts and it cleans beautifully.

didnt like this product from day one..not enough water, leaves residue on clothing...just months after my 5 year warranty the transmission went

I've had this for almost six years, but have NOT been satisfied with the machine. It's now reached the point that I will need to replace it. It is ruining clothes, making crazy noises and Blew up

I have a bad tub hub and to replace it you have to replace tub. Its show on parts diagram as a separate part but no part #. The tub is as much as a new machine. Other washer it can be replaced. I will never buy a ge again.

Great Washer

This washer we purchased in 2011 and it has been a great washer. Just recently it started making some sounds, like it has come off it tracks or socket, otherwise we love our washer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
